Location and Apartments
Where is Aparthotel Giuliano located?
We are located at Calle Tamariu, 7, 17487 Empuriabrava (Girona), right on the Costa Brava. Empuriabrava is known as the “Spanish Venice” for its extensive network of navigable canals.
What do the apartments include?
Our apartments feature Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. Some apartments also have a patio or balcony. They are designed to offer a comfortable, flexible, and independent stay.
Is this a good accommodation for families?
Yes. Apartments with their own kitchens and independent spaces are especially practical for families seeking comfort and independence during stays of several days. Furthermore, the area around Empuriabrava offers activities for children and adults.
What differentiates an aparthotel from a traditional hotel?
An aparthotel combines certain hotel services with the independence of an apartment. Having a kitchen, dining area, and more space provides greater flexibility for both short and long stays.

Does the aparthotel have its own restaurant?
Yes. Our restaurant, Bakkhos, is located within our facilities, offering Mediterranean-influenced cuisine, Italian options such as pizzas and pasta, and Argentinian specialties like empanadas and milanesas.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed (except cats) for €10 per pet per night.
A maximum of two pets are allowed per apartment, and they cannot be left alone inside the apartment at any time.
Is parking available?
We have street parking in front of the apartments. In addition, the 15 superior apartments have private parking within the building (they are the highest apartment category). The other 28 apartments do not include private parking.
Reservations, Check-in and Cancellations
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and check-out is until 11:00 AM. The reception is closed outside of these hours. Upon checkout, you will be informed of the steps to follow, as a security deposit is charged and refunded at the end of your stay: if you check out during normal hours, we will refund it at the restaurant; if you check out in the early hours of the morning, you will need to provide us with your bank account number for the refund.
What is the cancellation policy?
We offer two types of rates: one with free cancellation up to 3 days before the arrival date, and another non-refundable rate (more economical, but without a refund in case of cancellation). You can check the exact conditions of your rate during the booking process.
Is there a minimum stay?
It depends on the season. In winter you can book for as little as one night.
During peak periods, such as holidays and summer, some apartments have a minimum stay of several nights.

What can you do near Aparthotel Giuliano?
In Empuriabrava you can enjoy its beaches, explore its navigable canals, and practice different water sports. You can also experience flying in the Windoor wind tunnel.
Nearby are the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park, an ideal place for birdwatching and enjoying nature, and the historic center of Empuriabrava or Castelló d’Empúries, known for its medieval streets and the Basilica of Santa Maria.
